GreenWEEE International is the biggest integrated treatment plant for electric and electronic equipment waste (WEEE) in Romania and one of the most modern in Europe.

The company has been set up in January 2007 in Buzau and has started the production activity in February 2009 at 5 km from Buzau’s center, in a locality called Frasinu.

The initial investment of 10.000.000 Euro enabled the construction of a modern production hall and the acquisition of some of the latest WEEE treatment technologies that comply with European standards (art. 6 of the EU Directive no. 2002/96/EC)

GreenWEEE plant has currently a capacity of 50.000 tones /year and provides collection, treatment and recycling services, collaborating with the organizations for WEEE management, sanitation companies, collectors, as well as different companies that owe WEEE.
