On November 18th we attended to the opening of the new location of Waste Museum, situated in Expo Transilvania Cluj.

The Waste Museum offers a new perspective on the impact that waste have it on our daily lives. Starting from threats and discomfort given by waste, the museum show us how can we make the necessary integration - in time, objects we use will become waste that needs to be recycled.

The museum has 13 different areas -from packaging (plastic, paper, glass, metal) to WEEE, including light sources and batteries , waste resulted from Electrical and Electronic equipment and Home appliances, from the biodegradable waste to dangerous waste, from sanitation services to co-incineration, from demolition to selective collection, from reuse to recycling.

At the initiative of the Center of Excellence for Sustainable Development (CEDD) and the Ministry of Environment and Forests, with the support of Expo- Transilvania, the museum announced its opening last Friday, on 18 of November.

Greenweee International, together with GreenLamp Recycling are presents in different areas of the museum, especially in the selective WEEE collection and recycling.

The exhibition offers the visitors the opportunity to walk without supervision through the entire area.
