Process flow

Equipments’ preparation
The external electrical cables and the hazardous contained components are removed.

First shredding
The equipments are cut in smaller pieces in order to be easier to sort certain materials and components.

Manual sorting
Some components like condensers, transformers, printed circuits boards, etc. are sorted in order to be treated on other lines.

Second shredding
Its role is to reduce the dimension of the fractions.

Fractions’ separation
a) magnetic separation: for ferrous fractions
b) inductive separation: non-ferrous metallic fractions (ex: aluminium, copper, etc.) and non-metallic fractions (ex. plastic, wood, rubber, etc.).
